Jazz Fest 2011

Our tour of Louisiana continued with an overnight visit with our friends, the Lagraizes.

And a hot day at Jazz Fest.

International visit

We have very close family friends who live in Japan. Wake (dad) is originally from NOLA, and his mother, Jananne, still lives there. They have been staying with Jananne since the tsunami hit Japan, and we had the chance to spend some time with them when we were there for Jazz Fest. Aika and Jack are the same age; their birthdays are just a couple of weeks apart. Mitsuki is 4 months older than Joe.

International Festival and Fishing

Every year Lafayette hosts Festivale Internationale de Louisiane. My dad (Grumps) is the executive director of Acadiana Open Channel, so he works the festival. Below is what happens when you go to work with Grumps...

While we were in Lafayette we also went fishing at the pond in Grandmommy's neighborhood.

T-Ball

Jack started playing t-ball this spring. He LOVED it!
