Business in the front, party in the back.

As much as I hated to do it, it was time for Joe's first haircut. He's 19 month old, and what was once a bald, little head has grown into somewhat of a mullet. Now, as his mother, I've thought this sweet baby hair was just precious, but after having 5 different people refer to him as "she" in recent weeks, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and get his hair cut. Below are a few before, during and after pictures.

Because Joe wants to do EVERYTHING Jack does, I figured if he watched Jack get a haircut, he'd WANT to sit in the chair and get his cut.
He did not like the idea of sitting in the chair by himself, but he thought sitting in my lap was OK.

We've enjoyed some beautiful weather out at the ball field this spring!

Ride 'em cowboy!

The boys' school had a Mother-Son Rodeo last Friday. They had a real-live pony! (The pics that we took inside didn't come out very well.)

Lions and Tigers and Bears

We went to Memphis to spend a few days with Uncle Doc and Aunt Bec at the end of spring break. We spent Friday at the zoo, and it was PERFECT zoo weather! We got there when the gates opened at 9:00 and stayed until we were all worn out at 3:00. We still didn't get to see everything, but it was definitely a full day!

Definitely glad we had the double stroller!

Brent decided that Jack and Joe would both enjoy a ride on the carousel.

This is what Joe thought of the carousel.

Because he really wanted to be doing this.

We ended the day with a train ride.
